Parent-led non-profit · Okanagan, BC
Behind every athlete, a community.
ORGA supports Provincial, Regional & National level rhythmic gymnastics athletes across the Okanagan with the opportunities, resources and community no single club can build alone.
Athlete First
Volunteer Powered
Transparent & Non-Profit
ORGA was founded by rhythmic gymnastics families who saw a gap: talented, dedicated athletes needed opportunities beyond the club level that no single club could sustain alone.
So we built the shared structure; pooling resources, coordinating opportunities, and advocating for competitive rhythmic gymnasts as one community.
✓What ORGA is: A parent-led, volunteer-powered non-profit umbrella supporting competitive athletes.
✕What ORGA is not: We don't hire coaches, run training programs, or manage day-to-day athletic development.
WHO WE ARE
Not a club — the connective tissue around it
WHAT WE DO
Opportunities beyond the club level
Three ways ORGA helps Okanagan athletes grow, compete and thrive.
Queen of Hearts
Our annual RG invitational held in Vernon, BC, hosting hundreds of rhythmic gymnasts from across the region, organized entirely by volunteers and supported by our host club RISE Gymnastics Academy.
Training & Development
We coordinate extra development opportunities including training camps, guest coaches, and workshops.
Athlete Funding & Grants
We raise and distribute funds toward competition fees, travel, training and equipment to support our Provincial, Regional & National level athletes.
OUR VALUES
Working principles, not slogans
Values that guide every decision we make for our athletes.
Athlete First
Everything we do is guided by what best supports the development, well-being, and success of our athletes.
Opportunity
We are committed to creating meaningful opportunities that help athletes reach their full potential, regardless of where they are in their competitive journey.
Community
We foster an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and contributes to the growth of rhythmic gymnastics in the Okanagan.
Collaboration
We believe the strongest outcomes come from working together—with athletes, families, coaches, clubs, volunteers, officials, and our community.
Integrity
We do what we say and act with honesty, transparency, and accountability in everything we do. We make decisions that serve the best interests of our athletes, members, and community.
Excellence
We strive for excellence in our governance, events, fundraising, and the opportunities we create for athletes and families.
